Pneumatic Plastic Valves – Corrosion-Resistant Quarter-Turn Automatic Control Valves
Our pneumatic plastic valves fall into the category of corrosion-resistant quarter-turn automatic control valves, with the mainstream product lineup consisting of two primary types: pneumatic plastic ball valves and pneumatic plastic butterfly valves.
Each complete unit comprises a pneumatic actuator, plastic valve body, valve stem, plastic sealing structure, and pneumatic control accessories. All wetted parts are manufactured entirely from plastic materials, completely eliminating the risks of rust, corrosion, scaling, and secondary contamination that arise from metal contact with the process media.
Common engineering plastic materials used in our pneumatic plastic valves include UPVC, CPVC, PPH, and PVDF – all of which feature the inherent stability of high-performance polymers. In contrast to cast iron or stainless steel valves, our plastic valves offer unparalleled corrosion resistance, making them the preferred choice for demanding chemical and fluid handling applications.
1. UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride)
Offering strong versatility and excellent cost-effectiveness, UPVC resists corrosion from acids, alkalis, salt spray, and wastewater. Suitable for normal-temperature, atmospheric-pressure applications involving conventional acid-alkali waste liquids, chemical wastewater, and water treatment pipelines, UPVC is the most widely used plastic valve material on the market.
2. CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride)
With superior heat resistance over UPVC, CPVC can withstand acid and alkali media at temperatures ranging from 70°C to 90°C. It is ideally suited for high-temperature wastewater and mildly corrosive hot fluid transfer applications.
3. PPH (Polypropylene Homopolymer – Modified)
Featuring enhanced chemical resistance, PPH offers robust performance against strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents, combined with high toughness and impact strength. It is the material of choice for demanding service conditions in fine chemicals, electroplating pickling lines, and chemical solution transfer systems.
4. PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride)
As a premium anti-corrosion material, PVDF provides exceptional resistance to strong oxidizers, strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents. It also delivers excellent high-temperature tolerance, outstanding aging resistance, and food-grade purity, making it the ideal solution for pharmaceutical manufacturing, high-purity water treatment, and advanced fine chemical processes.
